Kalypso Island Bar & Grill: In 2005, two long time friends, Jacques Pautrat and Jim Mehta decided to acquire a well-known landmark on the north shore of Kauai – known then as Zelos Restaurant.
With Jacques 20+ years of experience in the food industry and Jim’s 15+ years experience in the business community, they were able to parlay together their talents and their new-found love for the island, into a business partnership. Under their supervision, the restaurant was remodeled and renamed Kalypso Island Bar & Grill.
Additionally, new recipes were created by Jacques and Kalypso’s current manager Flavia LaGrazia, to cater to both tourists and locals alike. It is their goal to create a fun, happy, and delicious experience for all those who enter Kalypso………. and keep them coming back!!
